Class Experience I provide one on one tutoring for Pre-K through 2nd grade math, reading, and writing. All learners will have a different need and I will do my best too met each need. As an educator and intervention specialist, I can provide individualized guidance that will help each learner. Parents will have an opportunity to provide me with information on what is needed when they register their learner. I can also use the curriculum that I have to meet the need of each student.

A few examples of what I offer
Math: One to one correspondence; and other areas in math
Reading: Letter and sounds, CVC and blending, Handwriting
Many different hands on techniques

Here is a Journal that allows each learner to right down their thoughts and ideas ( they can also bring this journal to class if they would like). Please know that this is a great personal and special resource they can feel excited about

My teaching style is Montessori inspired and it is very open-ended.I have several different teaching styles due to having many years in the educational field.
Montessori -This method of education is based on self directed activities, hands-on learning and collaborative play. In Montessori classrooms children make creative choices in their learning, while the teacher offers age-appropriate activities to guide the process.
Learning Goals Learners will receive guided instruction in one of the three areas (reading, writing, or math).
Progress Parents can assess their child after each session and congratulate their leaner for working so hard.
Time Commitment 1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
