During this pre-writing class, learners will get an opportunity to use their fine motor skills to draw letters. This will help to build their strength in fingers and encourage them to become great writers.
This is a Montessori class and as a group we will discuss each finger and learn their names. I will ask open-ended questions and allow each student to give me a letter that they would like to explore. All letters will be displayed on my screen (only the one we are discussing) and I will write with them. I will lso guide them through the processes if needed.

During this online interactive class, learners will be given the opportunity to learn place value (ones, tens, and hundreds) in an engaging and live class. I will begin by reviewing simple numbers with all learns. Followed by reviewing our skip counting by 10’s and all learners will receive additional help if needed during this time. In the end, we will begin learning group counting and finally begin looking at the ones, tens and hundreds. |

In this hands-on course, learners will be introduced to 3 great math concepts: less than, greater than and equal to. Before we begin learning the concepts, children will be identified and welcomed into the class. Then we will move forward by reviewing several numbers and identifying which one is less and which one is more.
After each child has grasp those concepts, we will begin learning what each symbol stands for. Then I will introduce the concepts together and begin allowing each student to help me solve several problems. Concepts will be reviewed as needed during the class.
Children should be able to identify numbers 1-20. |

In this class, learners will be given the opportunity to enhance their communication skills with a certified Health and Human Services professional. Some of the topics that we will discuss are empathy, personal space, taking turns, starting a conversation and much more. I will offer open-ended questions that will give each learner an opportunity to respond, and learn at their level. My teaching style is Montessori, and we will have a great time talking and learning with each other. |

Children will get an opportunity to talk amongst each other and problem solve in a fun and creative way. We will discuss several topics, for example emotions, problem-solving, using kind words, and taking turns. The structure of the class will be welcoming and very open-ended. All topics will be chosen by learners and discussed as a group (child-centered). Each learners’ ideas and interest are important and they will all get an opportunity to engage in conversation and speak about how they feel and what they might want to do different.
This is a very engaging class and offers learners a sense of independence. During each class, we will focus on two different tops according to learners’ interest (learners will be encouraged to give examples).
