I provide one-on-one tutoring for Pre-K through 2nd grade math, reading, and writing. As an intervention specialist, I can provide individualized guidance that will help each learner. Parents will have an opportunity to provide me with information on what is needed when they register their learner. My teaching style is Montessori and it is very open-ended. |

This is a Montessori class that helps students learn processing skills. During this course your children will be allowed to use manipulatives to help them process their math facts and early learning skills. Most children learn best by being able to manipulate and touch things. This class will help them develop the skills they need in order to problem solve and reach their best potential when it comes to math. |

Each child will grow and develop at their own pace. We will look at different materials and methods of problem solving, while having a great time and working together. |

No homework, unless we collectively or individually want to gather other information. |

We provide one on one tutoring for children of all ages. All learners will have a different need and we will do our best too met each need. As educators and intervention specialist, we can provide individualized guidance that will help each learner. Students will learn to build their math skills and receive tutoring in areas where they are struggling. This class will also provide students with problem solving concepts and strategies that they can us to complete future assignments. Students will work in groups and individually, the structure of each class will allow all students to receive help. I will cover all math topics from Pre-K to 2nd grade, for example patterns, addition, subtraction, and simple word problems. The style of teaching in this tutoring class is Montessori. Students will do a lot of hands-on math that will help to solve each problem. |

During this class, children will get the opportunity to interact with other learners, while engaging in conversation. This learning activity will build memory and visual learning. Each child will have an opportunity to “Spy” an item in the class. We will look at different items that learners like and enjoy. The structure of the class will give each learner time to talk and interact with everyone. This class is child centered and developed with my favorite still of teaching that is Montessori. |
